what are the differences in these instruments?
euphonium/baritone
french horn, mellophone
trumpet/coronet
Everything else everyone said is correct but the difference between the trumpet and the cornet is the way the bore is shaped. The bore in a cornet is more conical (cone like) while the bore of a trumpet is more cylindrical.
The euphonium and baritone have the same relationship with the euphonium being conical and the baritone being cylindrical.

I forgot to add older models of cornets have something called a "Sheppard's Crook" you can look that up on google if you care too. I don't want to bore you
